Older Siblings is a basement rock (grungy, garage rock) sibling duo based out of London, Ontario. The band consists of Kait Roses on drums, vocals, and keys, and Rye Bread on guitar and vocals. They have been described as having a “raw sound” and “witchy” by fans, and “not for me” by their mother.
They released their first EP, Unfinished Basement, in the spring of 2022. The two singles “Mediocre Tendencies” and “Room Temperature” have received radio play from across Canada, the USA, and overseas. They have played across Canada and look forward to returning to St. Thomas! If you mixed the White Stripes with Nirvana and Black Sabbath, you would have too many members in a band, but it might sound something like Older Siblings. Keep an ear out for a new EP coming this year! Welcome to the family.
