As a DJ, producer, and founder of Play Productions—an event company dedicated to supporting local artists and elevating female and underrepresented voices—K-VIII leaves a lasting impact with each set. Her performances captivate audiences both online in her thriving Twitch community and live, with standout sets at Ephemera in Tulum and Amsterdam’s underground dance scene. She’s played across Canada, the US, Mexico, and the Netherlands, consistently delivering inclusive, transformative musical experiences. In addition to her work behind the decks, K-VIII also lends her expertise as Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator for Change the Beat, a non-profit founded by Sydney Blu focused on diversity and equity in electronic music. Expanding her creative footprint, K-VIII recently released her debut single “Surrender”, available now on all major streaming platforms — marking an exciting new chapter in her career as a producer.
